გაცვლითი პროგრამის მონაწილე სტუდენტის თვალით დანახული მოგზაურობა

მე ვარ მარიამ ჯორბენაძე, თბილისის სამედიცინო აკადემიის მეოთხე კურსის სტუდენტი. სემესტრული გაცვლითი პროგრამით ვიყავი ვილნიუსის უნივერსიტეტში, ლიეტუვაში. გაცვლით პროგრამაში მონაწილეობა ჩემი დიდი სურვილი და მიზანი იყო, მინდოდა ჩემი ცოდნის გაღრმავება, დამოუკიდებლობისა და უცხო გარემოსთან ადაპტირების უნარების გაძლიერება. ლიეტუვაში ყოფნის პერიოდიც ზუსტად ამაში დამეხმარა და ამ დროის განმავლობაში საკმაოდ საინტერესო და მნიშვნელოვანი გამოცდილება მივიღე.

ვილნიუსი ასხივებს სილამაზეს თავისი ცოცხალი ფერებითა და დიდებული ძველი შენობებით, რომელთაგან თითოეული ასახავს ქალაქის მდიდარ ისტორიასა და კულტურულ მემკვიდრეობას. ვილნიუსის უნივერსიტეტი ცენტრალური ევროპის ერთ-ერთი უძველესი უნივერსიტეტია, რომელიც გამოირჩევა ულამაზესი ინფრასტრუქტურით და სწავლების მაღალი ხარისხით. 

აღსანიშნავია, ლიეტუვის მხარდაჭერა სტუდენტებისადმი. კერძოდ, ვილნიუსის უნივერსიტეტი გამოირჩევა მრავალი საგრანტო, სასტიპენდიო პროგრამით, რომლის მოპოვებაც გაცვლითი პროგრამით წასულ სტუდენტებსაც შეგვეძლო.  

 გაცვლითი პროგრამის ფარგლებში ყველაზე დიდ დროს ვატარებდი ვილნიუსის საუნივერსიტეტო კლინიკებში, რომლებიც ერთ სივრცეშია განლაგებული, რაც ჩვენთვის, ძალიან მოსახერხებელი იყო. სასემინარო საათები ტარდებოდა დამოუკიდებელი სწავლების (Self-studying) პრინციპით. უშუალოდ სემინარზე განვიხილავდით კონკრეტული პაციენტების კლინიკურ სურათს, რის შემდეგაც გვქონდა საშუალება გაგვესინჯა ეს პაციენტები.

აც შეეხება სემინარისტებს, განათლებული და კვალიფიციურიი კადრები ჰყავთ, რომლებიც ყველაფერს აკეთებენ იმისთვის რომ მათი სემინარები სტუდენტებისთვის საინტერესო იყოს.

საბოლოოდ, ძალიან კმაყოფილი ვარ იმ გამოცდილებით რაც მივიღე. რა თქმა უნდა, უცხო ქვეყანაში ცხოვრებისას საკმაოდ ბევრ დაბრკოლებას გადააწყდები, თუმცა როცა გაქვს მიზნები და სურვილები მათ ასასრულებლად ყველაფერს გაუმკლავდები. ეს გაცვლითი პროგრამა დამეხმარა დავფიქრებულიყავი ბევრ მნიშვნელოვან საკითხზე, თუნდაც იმაზე თუ რომელ სფეროში მინდა სწავლის გაგრძელება და ზოგადად როგორი ექიმი მსურს რომ ვიყო მომავალში, ამიტომ ვფიქრობ ვილნიუსში გატარებულმა დრომ საშუალება მომცა როგორც პროფესიულად, ასევე პიროვნულად განვვითარებულიყავი.

A Journey Through the Eyes of an Exchange Student

I am Mariam Jorbenadze, a fourth-year student at Tbilisi Medical Academy. I had the opportunity to participate as a one-semester exchange student at Vilnius University in Lithuania. Engaging in this exchange program was a primary goal and priority for me, as I aimed to deepen my knowledge, foster independence, and adapt to a new environment. My time in Lithuania proved instrumental in achieving these objectives, affording me truly enriching and valuable experiences.

Vilnius exudes beauty through its vibrant colors and majestic old buildings, each bearing witness to the city's rich history and cultural heritage. Vilnius University stands as one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Central Europe, distinguished by its splendid infrastructure and commitment to high-quality education.

Notably, Lithuania demonstrates strong support for students, with Vilnius University offering numerous grant and scholarship programs accessible to exchange students.

Throughout my participation in the exchange program, I primarily devoted my time to Vilnius University Clinics, conveniently situated within a unified space conducive to student engagement. Seminar sessions followed a self-study approach, wherein we delved into the clinical presentations of specific cases, followed by opportunities for direct patient examination.

During my exchange program, the assessment method utilized by Vilnius University differed significantly from that of my home institution, necessitating notable adjustments on our part. Nevertheless, the seminar instructors proved to be knowledgeable and dedicated, ensuring engaging sessions for students.

Reflecting on my experience, I am delighted with the insights I gained. Undoubtedly, navigating life in a foreign country presents various challenges, yet a steadfast commitment to personal and academic goals facilitates overcoming such hurdles. This exchange program prompted contemplation on critical aspects of my future career path, including the specialization I wish to pursue and the kind of physician I aspire to become. In essence, my time in Vilnius catalyzed both professional and personal growth, leaving an indelible mark on my journey toward becoming a healthcare practitioner.
