ISCOMS დღეები

ჩემი ხუთ დღიანი დაუვიწყარი თავგადასავალი ISCOMS-ის კონგრესზე, ჰოლანდიაში, შიპოლის აეროპორტიდან იწყება. ამსტერდამში ჩასვლისთანავე შეიმჩნევა ამ ქალაქის ინდივიდუალიზმი, კულტურა, ისტორია და ვან გოგისთვის დამახასიათებელი ფერები. ბევრი ვიწრო ქუჩა, ვიწრო სახლი, ბევრი ველოსიპედი, ბევრი არხი და არხებზე მოცურავე ნავები. ეს ყველაფერი პირველივე ქუჩების გავლისას აღიბეჭდა ჩემს მეხსიერებაში. თუმცა, წინ ყველაზე მთავარი, კონგრესის დღეებია. 

ISCOMS-არის მსოფლიოში ერთ-ერთი წამყვანი სტუდენტური კონგრესი (ბიო)სამედიცინო მეცნიერებების მიმართულებით. ეს არის სტუდენტების მიერ ჩამოყალიბებული ორგანიზაცია, რომელიც მიზნად ისახავს სტუდენტური კვლევების და მათი განხორციელებისას მიღებული შედეგების საერთაშორისო დისემინაციის ხელშეწყობას. კონგრესი ერთ-ერთ ულამაზეს ქალაქში, გრონინგენში, ტარდება. გრონინგენი სტუდენტური ქალაქია, მშვიდი, თანამედროვე, შემორჩენილი ისტორიული არტეფაქტებით. ამ ქალაქის ერთ-ერთი მთავარი ღირსშესანიშნაობა თავად, გრონინგენის უნივერსიტეტია, რომელიც XVII საუკუნიდან იღებს სათავეს. ქალაქის გულში მდებარე უნივერსიტეტის უზარმაზარი ტერიტორია დღეს უკვე მრავალ ფაკულტეტს და ბევრ როგორც ადგილობრივ, ასევე საერთაშორისო სტუდენტს ითვლის. 

 ISCOMS გრონინგენის უნივერსიტეტის მედიცინის კამპუსში ჩატარდა. აღსანიშნავია, რომ კონგრესის ყოველი დღე გაწერილი და საუკეთესოდ ორგანიზებული იყო ადგილობრივი სტუდენტების მიერ. მასპინძელი სტუდენტები საკმაოდ პოზიტიურები, კომუნიკაბელურები და პასუხისმგებლიანები იყვნენ.

კონგრესის დღეები სასიამოვნოდ დატვირთული, მრავალფეროვანი და შთამბეჭდავი აღმოჩნდა. ყოველი დღე იწყებოდა მსოფლიოში წარმატებული ექიმების, პროფესორების, მეცნიერების ლექციებით, რომლებიც გვაცნობდნენ თანამედროვე მედიცინის ბევრ აღმოჩენას და სიახლეებს. შემდეგ იყო ვორქშოპები, თავად უნივერსიტეტის სტუდენტები ლექტორებთან ერთად გვიტარებდნენ მასტერკლასებს სხვადასხვა დარგში. მე და ჩემი კოლეგები აქტიურად ვიყავით ჩართულები, დავესწარით ისეთ ვორქშოპებს როგორიცაა: მიკრო და მაკროსკოპული კერვა, 3D-ლაბი, Lab-on-a-chip. ეს პროცესი როგორც სახალისო, ასევე საინტერესო და ინფორმაციული იყო.  ამის შემდეგ ტარდებოდა ზეპირი, პოსტერული, პლენარული პრეზენტაციები, სადაც წარდგენილი იყო ჩვენი აკადემიის კვლევითი პროექტების შედეგები. ISCOMS-ზე წარდგენილი იყო თსა-ს სამი კვლევა, ორი პოსტერული და ერთი ზეპირი პრეზენტაციის სახით. კონგრესის დღე იხურებოდა ასევე საინტერესო ლექციებით, რომლებსაც ატარებდნენ წამყვანი პროფესორები მედიცინის დარგში. დღის ბოლოს კი ტარდებოდა სხვადასხვა რეკრეაციული ღონისძიება, სტუდენტების გასაცნობად და შთაბეჭდილებების გასაზიარებლად.

 ISCOMS-ის კონგრესზე გატარებული დღეები ჩემს კარიერულ ცხოვრებაში ერთ-ერთ დასამახსოვრებელ და შთამბეჭდავ ფურცლად დარჩება. აქ გატარებულმა დღეებმა ბევრი რამ მასწავლა, უკეთ დამანახა და შთამაგონა ჩემი სამომავლო გეგმები. წელს, უკვე ახალ ამპლუაში, როგორც ISCOMS-ის ელჩი მე და ჩემი კოლეგა ელენე ლიპარტია, სიხარულით გავუზიარებთ ჩვენს გამოცდილებას და დავეხმარებით სტუდენტებს მონაწილეობა მიიღონ ISCOMS 2024-ზე.

ISCOMS Days

My five-day-long unforgettable adventure at the ISCOMS Congress in Holland starts at Schiphol Airport. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, you can notice the individualism, culture, history, and colors of this city. Lots of narrow streets, extraordinary houses, a great number of bikes, and boats sailing in the canals. The whole scene was captured in memory while passing through the very first streets. However, the most important days ahead are the days of Congress. 
 
International Student Congress Of (bio)Medical Sciences (ISCOMS) is one of the world’s leading student congresses in (bio)medical sciences. ISCOMS is not just any regular congress, it is a non-profit organization made up of students that aims to promote student research and the international exchange of it. The congress is held in Groningen, one of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands. Groningen is a student city with quiet, modern, surviving historical artifacts. One of the main landmarks of this city is the University of Groningen itself, with its history dating back to the 17th century. Today the huge area of the university in the heart of the city counts many faculties and many local and international students as well.
ISCOMS was held at the University of Groningen Medical Campus. It is noteworthy that every day of Congress was scheduled and well organized by students. The host students were quite positive, sociable, and responsible.  

The days of Congress were pleasantly busy, varied, and impressive. Every day began with lectures conducted by successful doctors, professors, and scientists. They introduced us to many discoveries and innovations in modern medicine. The University students with their lecturers conducted workshops for us. My colleagues and I attended workshops such as Micro and Macroscopic suturing, 3D-Lab, and Lab-on-a-chip. This process was fun, interesting, and informative. Oral, poster and plenary presentations were held afterward, and the results of our academy's research projects were presented. Three studies by TMA were presented at ISCOMS, in the form of two posters and one oral presentation. Congress Day was also closed with an interesting lecture given by leading professors in the field of medicine. At the end of the day, various recreational events were held to entertain and get to know the students better.
 
The days spent at the ISCOMS Congress will remain one of the most memorable and impressive pages in my career life. The time I spent there taught me a lot, showed me better, and inspired my future plans. This year in the new role, as the ISCOMS Ambassador together with my colleague Elene Lipartia, we will be glad to share our experience and help students participate in ISCOMS 2024.
